Davido set to perform at UN General assembly event

Sensational Award-winning Afrobeats star, Davido real name David Adeleke just touched down New York City to perform at the 78th United Nations General Assembly.

Davido expressed his excitement via his X handle saying it would be his first time attending the UN General assembly.

He tweeted, “Touchdown New York City for the #UN General Assembly… My first time attending should be interesting. Also performing tonight at one of the events! Catch me if you can!”

Davido will be joining fellow Nigerian disc jockey and musician, DJ cuppy who hosted an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly.

The United Nations General Assembly is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations (UN), serving as its main deliberative, policymaking, and representative organ. It is currently in its 78th session and its powers, composition, functions, and procedures are set out in Chapter IV of the United Nations Charter.
