Opeyemi Famakin, popular Instagram food critic has called out Cubana Chiefpriest, a well-known entertainment figure, on social media for allegedly making threats to his life.
Famakin visited Cubana Chiefpriest’s restaurant in Imo State and shared his review online about his dining and the food. He praised the restaurant’s atmosphere and aesthetic but criticized the pastries calling the pre-made and microwaved which is not very appetizing.
Cubana Chiefpriest took to the comment section and expressed his gratitude to the food critic for visiting his restaurant, saying, “Thank you for visiting, Foodie. Wishing you all the best!”
However, things took a different turn on when Opeyemi Famakin accused Chiefpriest of threatening him over the review on social media. He posted screenshots of their conversations to back up his claims
In the screenshot, Chiefpriest wrote, “Karma is real, you must pay for whatever you sow in life. I don’t fight lowlifes, I leave them to karma. The business you did your wicked review for is owned by a 6-year-old.”
Captioning the screenshot, Famakin told the public to hold Cubana Chiefpriest responsible should anything happen to him.
He wrote, “I know a threat when I see one. I guess it’s time to leave Imo State ASAP. If anything happens to me while I am here, well, you know who to hold. I love how he was polite in the comment section for the world to see, but it was a different tone in my DMs.”
