In a recent turn of events, Sean “Diddy” Combs has been denied bail by Federal Magistrate Robyn F. Tarnofsky who ruled and said that Combs was too dangerous to be freed.

However, his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has submitted a letter asking again for bail under conditions that would allow him to leave the Metropolitan Detention Center.
Sean “Diddy” Combs was requesting to await his sex trafficking trial at his luxury home on an island near Miami Beach, rather than the federal jail in Brooklyn.
Combs’ lawyers offered a $50 million bail package using his mansion as collateral in exchange for releasing him to home detention with GPS monitoring and strict limitations on who could visit him. The defense and prosecution were deciding over the request at a hearing on Wednesday afternoon but this request was denied.
U.S. District Judge Andrew L. Carter said that the government had proved “by clear and convincing evidence that there is no condition or set of conditions” that will ensure the safety of the community and would guarantee that he won’t tamper with witnesses, as prosecutors suggested there was a possibility he would.
Sean “Diddy” Combs, hip hop mogul and rapper pleaded not guilty after an indictment accused him of using his “power and prestige” to induce female victims and male sex workers into drugged-up, elaborately produced sexual performances which he called “Freak Offs”
Combs was said to arrange as well as participate in this performances and often recorded them. The events was said to sometimes last for days according to the indictment.
The indictment alleged that he coerced and abused women for years, with the help of a network of associates and employees, while using blackmail and violent acts including kidnapping, arson and physical beatings to keep victims from speaking out.
Combs has been in federal custody since his arrest Monday night at a Manhattan hotel. According to Prosecutor Emily Johnson, Combs is a “danger to the community and poses a serious risk to the integrity” of his case.
