Popular Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, known as TG Omori or Boy Director revealed that his only brother donated one of his kidney to him as he was battling Chronic kidney disease a debilitating medical condition.
This is very sad news as he is a promising talented music director at the peak of his career and this can halt his progress. Fans initially complained about his absence on social media before he came on to break the sad news.
TG Omori in another social media post attributed this to an intake of fake drinks which seem to be a rampant problem in the nightlife space.
He made this known in a post on X while opening up on his health challenges where he wrote, “Yesterday my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again.”
Also on his Instagram story, the music director TG Omori shared pictures of himself on a hospital bed with an oxygen mask attached to his face. He captioned the picture saying “keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”
However following the surgery which happened on the 26th of august in St. Nicholas Hospital he disclosed on social media again that transplant failed and now he is fighting for his life and soliciting for prayers from his fans as this is a serious medical condition.
He revealed that his kidney got damaged last year. TG Omori wrote, “One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant at St Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me.”
Prayers are up for the popular talented Music producer as alot of celebrities have shared their well wishes with him.
