WWE Star John Cena – “My biggest fear is being a parent”

John Cena, WWE Superstar and American actor has disclosed in an interview that his greatest concern is that he would never be ready to be a “great parent.”

John Cena as a wrestler, has been signed to WWE since 2001, but has performed part-time since 2018. He is a 16-time world champion as recognized by WWE and is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.

The 47-year-old wrestler who has been married twice without children said that he would never be prepared to devote the time required to be a great parent.

John Cena got married to Elizabeth Huberdeau on July 11, 2009 and in May 1, 2012, he filed for a divorce, which was finalized in July.

Later that year, he began dating fellow wrestler Nikki Bella. They became engaged when Cena proposed to her at WrestleMania on April 2, 2017, but ended their relationship in April 2018. They had been scheduled to marry on May 5.

On October 12, 2020, He married girlfriend, Shay Shariatzadeh, who he had been dating since early 2019, in a private ceremony in Tampa, Florida. However both marriages did not produce kids.

According to John Cena, “My biggest fear is I don’t think I’m personally ready, nor will I ever be, to invest the time it takes to be a great parent,” Cena said in a recent interview with Club Shay Shay.

“Because I still have a lot to do and I still want to do a lot. I have a wonderful partner, we’ve had open conversations about this. We share the same values.

“It’s a tough subject to talk about because it immediately puts you in a category. People tend to judge. Human nature, we are all judgmental. But I operate under the construct that everyone is okay living their lives.

“I’m very happy with where I stand. I have a lot of joy and fulfilment in my life.”
