Veteran Afrobeats singer Jaywon calls out rapper Odumodublvck on a post on X (formerly Twitter), where the rapper mocked him by sharing a comparison of two photos featuring Ayra Starr while shading him.
In the image, the Mavin artiste Ayra Starr is seen posing closely with American rapper Future, while in the other, she appears to keep her distance from Jaywon seemingly to prevent him from holding her waist.
Odumodublvck captioned the post, “This life ehn,” throwing shade at Jaywon.
In response, Jaywon wrote: “Lol, you’re already dragging your senior, who’s going to drag you? You haven’t even started life, and you’re already stepping on toes.”
This is not the first time the two artists are at loggerheads on social media. Recall, early this year Jaywon criticized Odumodublvck for repeating Burna Boy’s controversial statement that no one paved the road for him in the Nigerian music business, emphasizing that the rapper should not be saying that, especially since his music is “not all that.”
He wrote via X: “As far as I’m concerned, Odumodu is just as arrogant as the rest of them, and everybody knows the music is not all that but you know, I respect your hustle still bro…… keep crying! The people supporting you too know the truth.
“No be everything be gra gra. Sometimes calm down to listen to small advice.”
Reposting Jaywon’s tweet, Odumodublvck wrote in Pidgin, “You wey your music na all that, na only January 1st dem dey book you for show.
“Sapa anthem.”
